European Commission publishes February 2026 factsheet explaining EU food contact materials safety framework (non-binding)

The European Commission published a factsheet (communications/guidance material) explaining how the EU ensures safe food packaging and food contact materials (FCMs), summarising the role of the Framework Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and related measures (e.g., GMP and plastics rules).
