Public Act 104-0424 amends the Illinois Controlled Substances Act electronic prescribing provisions to extend the period during which prescriptions issued by a licensed veterinarian are not required to be issued electronically. The exemption window is extended to 7 years after November 17, 2023 (extended from a prior 2-year window).
