ECHA has published an updated proposal to restrict per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) under EU REACH. The update was prepared by authorities from Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden, who submitted the initial proposal in January 2023. This updated proposal is part of the ongoing Universal PFAS restriction evaluation process and reflects refinements based on consultation feedback received during the evaluation period.
