EPA published an updated 2026 version of its interim guidance addressing destruction and disposal of PFAS and PFAS-containing materials. The guidance discusses considerations for large-scale management pathways (e.g., thermal treatment, landfills, underground injection) and provides an evaluation framework and discussion of uncertainties/data gaps.
