EPA Proposes TSCA SNURs Batch 26-4 for Chemical Substances

TSCAEnvironmental Protection AgencyUS
Announced

Jul 30, 2026

Description

EPA is proposing significant new use rules (SNURs) under TSCA for certain chemical substances that were subject to premanufacture notices (PMNs) and TSCA Orders. Once finalized, these SNURs would require 90-day advance notification to EPA before manufacturing or processing these substances for designated significant new uses. This allows EPA to evaluate conditions of use before activities commence. Companies handling PMN substances should review the proposed designations.
