EPA Issues Final SNUR for Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes

EPA has issued a final Significant New Use Rule (SNUR) under TSCA for multi-walled carbon nanotubes, a chemical substance subject to a premanufacture notice (PMN) and EPA Order. The SNUR requires 90-day advance notification to EPA before manufacturing or processing the substance for designated significant new uses. This enables EPA to evaluate conditions of use before the activity commences.
